Last week, I went to Leeds to hang out with the gorgeous Rachel from Full Flourish. She has a YouTube channel where she talks about bullet journals, minimalism, and mindfulness - which you should definitely go and subscribe to if you haven't already! We've known each other since we had a few hundred subscribers between us, and now her channel is really growing and I couldn't be happier for her.
I travel to Leeds quite a lot as most of my mother's side of the family live over there, but believe it or not I've never actually walked around the city. Usually when I go to Yorkshire, I'm visiting a relative at their house and then going straight back home in the car. I can't believe it's taken me this long to actually have a look around!
Rachel was a lovely tour guide, and took me to all the beautiful parts of leeds, as well as a few of our favourite shops.
We started off with the Leeds Corn Exchange - which resulted in me looking at Rachel with the arches behind her and going "Wait! Hang on! Stay there!" while I quickly got a few pictures of her. I should warn all of you in advance that that's just what it's like to be friends with me - but hey, at least you'll get a decent Facebook profile photo out of it.
We were both thrilled to discover that Fred Aldous (an independent stationery and arts/crafts shop in Manchester) had opened another store in Leeds as well, so you can probably guess where we went next to swoon over Leuchtturm 1917 notebooks and Tombow pens.
Our day also included a stroll through Victoria Gate - which looked like such an expensive place that I wasn't even sure if I could afford to sneeze in there. However, it did mean that I got to visit & Other Stories for the first time, which was just as picturesque as various YouTube hauls had suggested. After that, we wondered to Leeds Trinity, and found quite a few things in Primark that I needed to take home.
Oh, and of course; I met Oscar (Rachel's cat).

It was such a lovely day, and I'm so glad I documented it. Do you have a love for stationery shopping? What's your favourite stationery shop to get your supplies?
