Winter Pampering Routine

re-gen oil review

As the weather gets colder, and it gets closer to Christmas and I find myself more stressed, I've been relying on a decent pampering routine in the evening to keep my skin soft and my sanity restored. Here are some of my favourite products for when the only thing I can think about is having a nice, hot bath:

Superdrug Hydrate & Shine Conditioning Masque with Coconut Water.

I usually put some deep conditioner on my hair before I get in the bath, as the heat will help the conditioner make my hair much softer. I'm using the Superdrug Hydrate & Shine Conditioning Masque at the moment and it smells incredible, and does a lovely job at hydrating my hair without weighing it down.

Bubble Bath.

You can't have a post about winter pampering without mentioning bubble bath. I'm not hugely fussy about which ones - bubbles are bubbles, no matter what you pay - but I love this travel sized one from Baylis & Harding that I had in my stash, as well as Argan Oil Bubbling Bath from The Body Shop.

Re-Gen Oil.*

When Lino Care contacted me and asked if I wanted to try their Re-Gen Oil, I jumped at the chance. Who doesn't want a lovely body oil to use in November? What I love about this one in particular is that you can also put a few drops in the bath and on your skin afterwards as well. I've tried both and I love it. The oil has a gorgeous Lavender scent and leaves my skin feeling really soft afterwards. You can even use this on your face! Genius.

Shea Body Butter.

After I slather on the Re-Gen Oil, I'll reach for an indulgent body butter to seal in the moisture... and because I just love how they smell. If you haven't tried one of The Body Shop Body Butter's, where have you been? I usually have a few on stand by as I get a few on birthday's and Christmas. I'm using the Shea scented one right now, and it's one of my favourites.
