The Essential Purchase for Porcelain Skin: Stargazer White Foundation

If you're rocking a Snow White complexion like me, then you probably find it quite difficult to find a good match for foundation. I've lost count of the amount of times I've purchased a shade that looked like it was pale enough in the shops, but once on my face looked orange. I ended up with a stash of foundations that just didn't work for me, which is when I had the bright idea to hunt down a completley white foundation to mix with them. After a quick Google I discovered they were quite hard to find in the likes of Boots and Superdrug, but Amazon didn't let me down - they had the Stargazer White Foundation for a mere £4. So I grabbed one (along with a few other things that I really didn't need, because that's just what happens when I go on Amazon) and hoped for the best.

Both foundations mixed together.

I've been trying it out ever since it arrived, and it is life changing. Ok, it's not really - it's just a foundation, after all - but it's really changed my makeup. It's a nice creamy texture that's easy to blend with other products. It doesn't change the finish, coverage or texture of anything I mix it with. I thought I'd have to splash out on a high-end foundation to get something that matched my neck, but now I can make anything work.

In the first photograph, there's a dollop of the Stargazer foundation on the left and Gosh X-Ceptional Makeup in 11 Porcelain on the right. The Gosh foundation is much too dark for me, and no matter how well I blend it, it still leaves me looking orange. But I've really been enjoying it since I started mixing it with the Stargazer foundation to make it a perfect match for me.

I'd highly recommend this product if you struggle to find a foundation that matches your skintone!
