On Repeat: My Current Favourite Tracks

Considering how often I listen to music, I really don't write about it enough on this blog - but I'm hoping to change that this year. I thought I'd share some tracks that I've been loving recently. Some are new, some are not, but all of them are new to my music collection.

I had to mention David Bowie. After he died, I listened to his new album Black Star, which I highly recommend if you haven't heard it yet. My favourite track by far is the single Lazarus, which tells the story of a man awaiting death. The music video which accompanies it is just as beautiful as the song.

I found Tom Rosenthal on my second home, YouTube. The song All Of Them Dreams has been featured on a few videos including the one above byWill Darbyshire. The track is just stunning, perfect for rainy days and melancholic moods.

Of course, there have been a few more upbeat songs in my playlist, too. I first heard Lost in Trying on a car advert which isn't where I usually find new music, but this was a rare exception. I love songs that gives a kick of adrenaline, and this is just the thing.

I think Hey Boy Hey Girl by The Chemical Brothers was one of the first tracks that I really fell in love with as a child back in the nineties, and they've been one of my favourite artists ever since. Their latest single gives me chills, and I haven't stopped listening to it.

What are your favourite songs right now?
